A 15-year-old Christian transgender, identified as Musa, was gang-raped and murdered by the ‘local thugs’ in Faisalabad on Saturday.
Activist Shaan Taseer posted a photo on Facebook, wherein he demanded Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari to take action against the perpetrators.
“ 15 years old Musa, a Christian transgender was gang raped and murdered by local thugs in Faisalabad on April 4, 2020. Despite multiple witnesses, no action has been taken by the Batala Colony Police Station,” Shaan taseer said.
While demanding justice from Shireen Mazari, the activist said that both communities have been subject to persecution in Pakistan since long. “Your [Shireen Mazari] urgent intervention is required to reassure us that Pakistan is for all,” he added.
