In the country’s male-dominated financial sector, Ms. Rehman holds her own place, standing tall. Maheen Rehman is not just Pakistan’s top investment banker, but also ranks fifth in the Forbes ’40 Under 40′ list this year. She is the CEO of Alfalah GHP Investment Management Ltd, the country’s eighth largest money-managing firm.

Areeba Tipu Khan

A mother of one who decided to pursue her passion of flying 10 years ago, Areeba Tipu Khan moved to Lahore from her hometown Pindi to join a local flying school. In two years, Areeba became Pakistan’s National Carrier’s first officer flying the ATR.

For Areeba the sky is literally the limit!

Mehreen Syed needs no introduction, being the beloved personality that she is. Mehreen is a renowned Pakistani model and was titled Indigo Face of the Year 2010 and Model of the Year by Lux Style Awards. She is also the CEO of IFAP (International Fashion Academy Pakistan) and the Spokesperson for Loreal Paris. Muniba Mazari

At the age of 21, Muniba Mazarin suffered an injury that paralysed her from the hip down. Her backbone was crushed and she sustained multiple fractures to her arm, shoulder, ribs and collarbone. Doctors told her that she would be unable to walk, paint, or give birth; this left her devastated.

Nine years later Muniba was named one of BBC’s ‘100 Most Inspirational Women in 2015’ and featured in Forbes’ ’30 under 30’ the following year. She is also known as the Iron Lady of Pakistan. She truly is a force to be reckoned with.

Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is a journalist, activist and filmmaker. She has gained Academy Awards for her documentaries ‘Saving Face’ and ‘A Girl In The River: The Price Of Forgiveness’ bringing not one but two Oscars to Pakistan. She highlights issues that plague the Pakistani society, something she faces a lot of backlash for. Nonetheless, criticism doesn’t cease her from creating eye opening and thought provoking movies and most of all, following her passion!

Musarrat Misbah

Last but certainly not the least is Musarrat Misbah, Pakistan’s well-known beautician-turned-philanthropist. She is one of the first beauty experts to introduce the trend of professional beauty salons in the country. She started the Depilex Institute, which became one of the biggest beauty training institutes in the country.

But Musrrat’s journey wasn’t over yet, with time she got inspired to incorporate the idea of ‘beauty with a cause’ with the Depilex Smile Again Foundation. She used this initiative to help acid attack victims and remove the stigma attached to it. When asked what was on her bucket list, Musarrat Misbah replied, “A crime free Pakistan”.

These amazing women aren’t only wonderful mothers, their lives and careers are an inspiration to all of us – to strive for what we believe in. As Areeba soars through the skies to reach new heights and Sharmeen dives down under to uncover the truth, the possibilities seems impossible and the future looks much brighter.
