According to a report submitted to the Supreme Court by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), several prominent government officials and politicians own “nameless” properties in Dubai. The list also includes the name of Imran Khan’s sister: Aleema Khanum.

The report, detailing the properties owned by Pakistani nationals, revealed that Senator Taj Afridi, PPP leader Late Makhdoom Amin Faheem’s widow and Farrukh Saleem’s mother owned expensive properties in the UAE.

FIA dispatched notices to all individuals involved in acquiring properties in another person’s name. However, the FIA was informed by an employee of Aleema Khanum, that she was currently abroad, the FIA, hence, emailed her the legal notice.

The list also revealed that ruling party’s leader Mumtaz Ahmed Muslim owned 16 properties, while PMLN senator Anwar Baig’s wife owned an apartment.

Among other prominent individuals, singer Adnan Sami Khan’s mother Noreen Sami Khan owns three properties while customs collector Shahid Majeed, FBR officer Wasif Khan, former PIA MD Ijaz Haroon’s wife, daughters of former military ruler Gen Pervez Musharraf’s former secretary Tariq Aziz, DIG Suhail Habib Tajik, politician Zakim Khan, government official Agha Masood Abbas, Irshad Ahmed of Zarai Taraqiati Bank, and customs collector Wahid Khurshid’s wife also own properties in Dubai.

Rizwana Ameen, Irfan Marwat and Dildar Cheema have already refuted the claim in their replies to the FIA notices.
