
World Economic Forum convened Annual Meeting of World leaders in the Swiss Mountains of Davos. Nearly 3000 delegates from various spheres gathered for five-days sessions to voice their perspective on the pressing world issues .
The World Economic Forum commenced with a warning from its founder Professor Klaus Schwab about the adverse impact humanity is having on the environment and called for international co-operation on promulgating sustainable solutions.
This year’s meeting mounted the theme Globalization 4.0: Shaping a Global Architecture in the Age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan during a dialogue with Klaus Schwab, the founder of WEF focused on five areas ‘China’s Economic Growth, Anti-Globalization wave, Fourth Industrial Revolution , US-China trade war and Global Economy.
In response to the slow pace of China’s economy, Wang emphasized on sustainable growth. He stated that China weighs growth quality,structure and efficiency over the growth speed.

Referring to US-China Relations, he underscored that both the countries are inseparable. History has shown that the relations between both the nations move more smoothly when core interests are taken care of.
