FIA arrests Chinese nationals allegedly involved in human trafficking in Lahore

A shocking announcement was made when it was revealed that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested 8 Chinese nationals from Lahore suspected of being involved in a human trafficking ring. The suspects were apprehended during a raid on Divine Homes, said FIA Lahore Deputy Director Jamil Ahmed Khan Meo.
He further added that the arrested were involved in marrying Pakistani girls with the help of local agents and then forcing them into prostitution.
While we know these type of crimes are all over the world, but to know this is happening in our own hometown is a little uncomfortable. Let’s see what comes of this.
Tayyaba torture case: Convicts’ lawyer tells court child maid’s bruises were ‘accidental’

In a disgusting attempt to appeal their conviction, the lawyer for the judge and his wife jailed for torturing a minor in Islamabad told the Supreme Court that the bruises on the victim’s body were accidental.
The case of Tayyaba, a young domestic worker employed in the convicts’ household, gripped the nation in 2016 after photos of the tortured child began circulating on social media.
Initially Tayyaba’s parents and the accused had reached agreement, but the Supreme Court took Suo Moto and convicted District and sessions judge Raja Khurram Ali Khan and his wife Maheen Zafar, who on April 2018. They were convicted for keeping 10-year-old girl in wrongful confinement, burning her hand over a missing broom, beating her with a ladle, detaining her in a storeroom, and threatening her of “dire consequences”.

The newest addition to the royal family is here! Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and wife of Britain’s Prince Harry, gave birth to a boy on Monday, Harry announced.
The baby, seventh-in-line to the British throne, “is absolutely to die for”, the prince told reporters.
In a formal announcement on their official Instagram account the royal couple said they “welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz”. (3.2 kg)
This has a truly happy occasion for the whole Royal Family. Meghan’s and Harry’s love story has been on for the books. The media frenzy had been enormous, and this will only heighten it.
Jibran Nasir accuses SAMAA TV of editing out his talk about “missing people”
Yesterday night, Jibran Nasir appeared on SAMAA TV’s news show “Awaz”. However, he was disappointed to notice that his talk about missing people was cut out. He took to twitter to point out how it was edited out.
“Not a time issue as comments of other panelists weren’t edited” he tweeted.
He was called onto the show to talk about the moon sighting controversy. He decided to talk about how families of missing people in the Shia community are spending their time at a Dharna.
