Prime Minister Imran Khan has left for a two day visit to Saudi Arabia before his visit to New York to attend the UN General Assembly session.

The PM intends to take up increasingly pressing situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir with the Saudi leadership, particularly the impact of Indian military in the Himalayan region and violation of human rights.

Indubitably, PM Imran will in return be expected to provide “diplomatic and all other types of support” after the attack on Saudi Arabia’s oil facilities.

According to sources, the PM has been in regular contact over telephone with the Saudi Prince Mohamed Bin Salman regarding the Kashmir issue.
On his latest phone call with MBS, Imran told the prince that Saudi had “Pakistan’s support….[in] confronting these sabotage acts which threaten global economy”.

We’re certainly wondering how this will fit in the timeline of UAE and Saudi Arabia siding with India on the abrogation of Article 370, as well as Indian PM Narendra Modi being awarded the ‘Order of Zayed’, aka UAE’s highest civilian award.
Let’s see how it plays out.
