‘The Nation’ which is one of Pakistan’s oldest running news paper has evolved quite a bit over the past few years. According to the editor in chief (who also happens to be a fan of the current chief) and owners, “business has been good”!

The Nation is one of the few news networks after an unknown local Peshawar News station that gets a handsome government advertisement budget.

Last year the Editor printed planes flying out of news headline.

“It’s not like we’re allowed to do serious news, might as well have fun with it right,” the editor laughingly explained to our reporter.

“The future of journalism is not good news but who can make it more catchy and appealing, it’s time we get with the times,” stated The Nation’s media manager from some liberal arts collage.
