Istanbul: Turkey has won the tender to train Pakistani pilots. Turkish engineering company Yontem Teknoloji will be training Pakistani pilots in 2020.
The firm will start its formal training from June 2020 at Turkey’s newly established aviation academy. The first batch will consist of 30 pilots as informed by School of Aviation Training and Services (SAHA) Istanbul Defence and Aerospace Cluster Association.
The School of Aviation Training and Services will later train more pilots with the passage of time.
The general manager of Yontem Teknoloji stated that Turkish firm will share its experience on simulators. The training is in compliance with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and European Union Aviation Safety Agency.
“Turkey has become a defense technology exporter, our goal is to make Turkey a world leader in the field of technology and education by developing more products,” Uzar noted.
