Prime Minister Imran Khan leaves for Saudi Arabia. His one day trip will include detailed discussion with Saudi leadership on bilateral issues. His discussions will also be based on the recent developments in the region.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal said visiting both the countries is a part of bilateral cooperation. This visit will make a total of four visits in one year by Imran Khan.

His earlier visits were in May, September and October 2019. From Saudi Arabia, HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman visited Pakistan in February 2019.

Both the states held delegation level discussions. These discussion were based on religious unity, peace in the region and global political situation. Prime Minister Imran Khan has previously also talked about how Pakistan wishes peace and unity in the entire region.

PM had also updated MbS on the latest conditions in Indian occupied Kashmir which has been under a military lock down since August 5.
