On Monday morning, Sociologist and Assistant Professor at LUMS, Umair Javed tweeted that the university is changing its name to LUMS University.
Those who are not in the know may be wondering what will happen to the acronym since it breaks down to Lahore University of Management Sciences; does the new update mean it will now become Lahore University of Management Sciences University?
Responses to the tweet have been just as incredulous, with people comparing the change to ‘Chai Tea’ and ‘MCB Bank’.
