But pushback by the conventional automakers have halted the finalization of this policy, which lead to EV makers worrying that eco-friendly cars, vans, motorcycles and rickshaws will be expensive for the mass market.
The conventional automakers raised their concern that incentives offered in this policy will unfairly benefit the emerging industry, which will result in hardship for the traditional automobile sector.
