SAPM Firdous Ashiq Awan addressed media following a core committee meeting of the PTI. During the address she stated that doctors and paramedics in Punjab, who are working during the pandemic will get one month’s extra salary as a bonus.
Moreover, if a doctor or member of the medical staff passes away while treating a patient infected with the coronavirus, they will be treated as martyrs and their families will receive the similar package as martyrs.
