A member of the Tableeghi Jamat, who was placed in quarantine in the Layyah district of Punjab, tried to escape isolation after attacking a policeman with a knife. The injured policeman has been shifted to the hospital since the incident.
Superintendent Police Atif Nazar shared the details of the unfortunate incident via Twitter, while simultaneously urging the public to cooperate with the police, as they are doing their jobs, trying to protect the public from the continued spread of Coronavirus.
