The renowned YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson famously known as MrBeast recreated Squid Game with 456 random people. MrBeast played each of the Squid Game challenges in his YouTube video. The 456 players competed for the jackpot of 456,000 US dollars. Jimmy Donaldson’s video in the initial 24-hours was able to get more than 32 million views.
It is pertinent to know that Jimmy re-invests his YouTube earnings to make more viral content. Almost every 456 contestants were rewarded during the YouTube video, but there was only one winner for the half a million-dollar winning prize. MrBeast had previously hinted at jumping on the bandwagon of doing Squid Game videos on his YouTube channel in a much unique way. With 76.2 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, MrBeast documented the entire process of constructing the Squid Game set.
MrBeast also revealed that his recreation of the Squid Game set costed nearly 4 million US dollars. At the same time, MrBeast’s viral video also featured renowned celebrities, but they could not win any of the prizes.
