What happened:
On January 20, Zahir Jaffer was presented in the Islamabad district court on a stretcher handcuffed. Subsequently, senior journalist Saqib Bashir in his tweet, revealed, “Zahir Jaffer the main accused in Noor Mukadam case, has been declared as fully fit by the Adiala Jail Hospital. And the report of Adiala Jail doctors was submitted in the court of Additional Sessions, Judge Ata Rabbani.”

At the same time, an Instagram page run by Noor Mukadam’s friends @justicefor_noor tweeted, “Doctors of Adiala Jail have declared Zahir Jaffer as completely fit in their medical report. The report has been submitted in court. #JusticeForNoor.” Numerous media publications claim that the Noor Mukadam case is nearing its end and the prime accused Zahir Jaffer is trying his best to “evade” justice.
