The Sindh government has hinted at launching the Rescue 1122 emergency response service in the province, as previously Punjab had launched it nearly 18 years ago in 2004. Sindh has also acquired 288 new emergency ambulances, with a loan of seventy million dollars from the World Bank, as they aim to provide emergency assistance to the citizens.

At the same time, the development claimed that after every fifty kilometres on the motorway and Indus Highway there would fire engines and ambulances.
