What happened:

The Islamabad born Abiha Haider is the country’s youngest footballer as she joined the Pakistan football team at 13. FIFA has shared the inspiring tale of Abiha Haider in the documentary, as she has been featured to “become an inspiration to others.” 


A local publication has quoted Abiha’s journey as “Abiha followed her passion despite hindrances in her path due to the lack of opportunities for women in sports.” Abiha Haider has also represented Pakistan in many global events, as she considers all female footballers as one global unit as for her football is family. The youngest female footballer also runs a football academy that motivates the young female footballers to pursue their dreams.
