Details: During the wedding rituals in India’s Uttar Pradesh state, the musical band demanded money from the groom’s side, but they refused, saying the bride’s side would pay. On the other hand, the bride’s side failed to pay the band, and it escalated into a dispute, leading the families to call off the wedding. ARY News quoted the incident as, “the groom finding his pride hurt walked off with his procession, breaking off the necklace he was wearing.” Later, the incident was also reported to the local police.
