The Pakistani actor and screenwriter, Yasir Hussain expressed his views on ‘The Legend of Maula Jutt’ as he called it the best thing that could happen to Pakistan after the ‘92 World Cup.


The Karachi se Lahore actor further lauded Bilal Lashari’s direction and added, “From Nasir Adeeb sahab’s writing to Ammara Hikmat’s production, everything is great. The entire time you won’t feel like getting out of your seat or even checking the mobile phone. Babar Ali and Resham’s screen presence was unreal, Ali Azmat and Faris Shafi; the best supporting cast!”

More than 500 theatres in 25 countries screened the movie. On October 18, saw Maula Jatt topped the charts in the UAE, Australia, Canada, and six other countries. The high-budget movie brought in Rs509 million (US$2.3 million) on its debut weekend.
