Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai and her father Ziauddin Yousafzai, will visit Lahore this week for a series of meetings with media, students, government officials, and members of the development community as well as advocates from the Malala Fund Education Champion Network and partners. The father-daughter duo are co-founders of the ‘Malala Fund.’
They will also participate in a number of events with the Malala Fund team and a distinguished academic delegation from the Oxford Pakistan Programme. Their agenda is to emphasise on promoting science education for Pakistani girls. Malala and Ziauddin will meet with Chief Minister Parvez Elahi in Lahore as well, where they would discuss education and Malala Fund’s contribution to it in Pakistan.
