What happened: Pakistan has a very high illiteracy rate along with poverty and inflation. Our country’s education system is failing as according to this Twitter user, 12 million Pakistani girls are out of school. She asked this flower girl about school and she said “I wish, but my family can’t afford supplies like a basic school bag and textbooks so I do this instead.” Rather than studying in school, the girl is struggling and selling flowers on the streets.
