What happened: Express Tribune reported that the New Gwadar International Airport has recently seen a significant development as the Civil Aviation Authority has introduced the facility of “night landing.” This initiative is expected to enhance and develop the operational capabilities of the airport and cater to the rising demands of air travel in the region.
In a recent announcement, the Civil Aviation Authority issued a directive to all airlines and aviation companies outlining and highlighting the implementation of the night landing facility at New Gwadar International Airport until September 2023. Express Tribune reported that as per the directive, aircraft will not be permitted to park during nighttime hours.
