What happened:

On March 29, the Attorney General’s Office for Pakistan expressed reservations that Prime Minister Imran Khan agreed to show the ‘threatening letter,’ that he mentioned in his public rally in Islamabad, to the chief justice of Pakistan, the head of the country’s highest institution.

Details:

The prime minister convened a meeting of party spokespersons to update them on the present political situation, notably the secret letter, which he said included evidence of foreign involvement in the plot to destabilise the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf administration.

The Attorney General of Pakistan, Khalid Jawed Khan, has voiced his concern that it is not a subject pertaining to court or the judiciary, “There’s no need to show it to the chief justice.”

The letter specifically mentions the no-confidence motion, Imran told party spokespersons. “As soon as we received the letter, the motion of no-confidence was tabled,” he added.
