‘Kartarpur Corridor helps bridging gaps’ Sikh man reunites with his sister after 75 years

What happened: Mumtaz Bibi and her brother reunited after a gap of 75 years, as the Kartarpur Corridor helped bridge the two lost siblings. How it happened is an interesting story as Express Tribune quotes,  “At the time of independence, a man found a six-month-old baby girl cuddling her mother who had been dead.”  Mumtaz Bibi was born in Tej Kaur, but her family belonged to Pakistan’s Sheikhupura city, and the family had migrated to Patial during the independence.  Details:   However, fast-forward 75 years later, Mumtaz Bibi met her brother, and  “the emotionally charged siblings shed tears that washed away their 75-year-old separation.”  Social media helped the two siblings meet, as Mumtaz Bibi got to know about her brother Gurmakh Singh through social media.
