Amid the heatwave, MET department predicts heavy rain coming week

However, the Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall starting in the coming week, as Pakistanis hope that this will end the heatwave. Details: According to the PMD predictions, a new weather system has developed in Pakistan, which may attract torrential rainfall from May 16 to May 18. Cities where rain is predicted: Torrential rain alongside Thunderstorms are expected in central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Islamabad, Azad Jammu Kashmir, and Upper Punjab. At the same time, the rainfall would help in decreasing the temperature nationwide.
