Taliban issues statement after Pak Army allegedly rocketed different Afghan provinces, 40 injured

What happened: On April 16, international publications reported that Pakistan Army shot their rockets and aerial raids on two different Afghan provinces, resulting in civilian casualties. Taliban spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid, in an audio message quoted by AlJazeera, said,  “The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan condemns in the strongest possible terms the bombardment and attack that has taken place from the Pakistan side on the soil of Afghanistan.”  Details: It is pertinent to mention that mainstream Pakistani media did not report that incident; however, Taliban authorities claimed that five children and a woman were killed in Afghanistan due to the rockets fired on Saturday. On the other hand, Pakistan’s Army is yet to give a statement in this regard, as the border tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan continue to rise. More: AlJazeera quotes,  “Islamabad claims militant groups are launching attacks on Pakistan from Afghan soil. The Taliban deny harboring Pakistani militants and is infuriated by the construction of a fence Pakistan.. known as the Durand Line.”
