What happened: Especially the internet users in Lahore reported slow internet speed in the provincial capital as users report slow internet speed of PTCl across the city. It was reported in January that a fault was reported in cables situated in the Indian Ocean. At the same time, PTCL in January stated that due to the fault in the international submarine cable the users might face difficulty.
Details: Whereas, PTA is quoted by different publications claiming that the internet issue would be covered in a month; however, the slow internet issue seems to continue in Pakistan as the Twitterati reports slow internet services in Pakistan.
