In a recent interview, analyst Orya Maqbool Jaan claimed that in a dream Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) recommended General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s name as Pakistan’s army chief, reports Naya Daur.
The analyst said that a professor in Karachi, Dr Shehzad, had a dream about the appointment of General Bajwa as COAS, four years before he became the army chief. What was the dream? In the dream, the professor saw the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Hazrat Umar (RA) and the last prophet asked Hazrat Umar, to bring forward a man named Bajwa. When the next day, Hazrat Umar takes Bajwa to the Prophet’s darbar, the prophet gives him a file. Hazrat Umar brings forward his left hand but Prophet strikes him softly and asks him to bring forward his right hand. Hazrat Umar does as he is told. When he is given the file, it has the name Bajwa written in it. Shehzad says that he knew nothing of the name back when he actually saw the dream.
