Jhang student carries a pistol to school for “protection”

Video of a student bringing a gun to school went viral on social media on Saturday. The video shows the student clad in school uniform, holding a pistol.
The student said he carried the gun to “protect” himself
“I keep this pistol for protection against the men who killed my grandfather and brother,” states the student, who’s identity has not been revealed. “I appeal to the police to arrest the men who killed my brother and grandfather and provide us protection.”
“My son goes to school and keeps the pistol for his own protection,”said his father. “He doesn’t carry the pistol inside. He leaves it outside the school.” Suspects Rab Nawaz, Mohammad Farooq and Mujahid are nominated in a FIR for the murder of the students’ brother and grandfather. Police stated the DPO took notice of the incident after the video went viral. “My son goes to school and keeps the pistol for his own protection,”stated his father. “He doesn’t carry the pistol inside. He leaves it outside the school.”
