اقلیتوں کی نمائیندگی اور پاکستان
کوئی بھی ملک تب تک ترقی نہیں کر سکتا جب تک وہ ایک قوم بن کر نہ ابھریں۔ “اقلیت” معاشرے کا ایک اہم حصہ ہوتے ھیں۔
پاکستان کی آبادی کا بڑا حصہ اقلیت برادریوں سے تعلق رکھتا ہے۔ جس میں عیسائ، ہندو اور دیگر مزہب کے لوگ جو کہ مسلمان نہیں ہیں وہ شامل ہوتے ہیں۔
جب پاکستان وجود میں آیا تب بانئ پاکستان قائد اعظم نے اقلیتوں کے حقوق کی یقین دہانی کروائی کیونکہ وہ ان کی قربانیاں جانتے تھے جو انہوں نے پاکستان کے حصول کے لیے دی تھیں۔ ان کی اہمیت کا اندازہ ہم اپنے جھنڈے کے سفید حصے سے لگا سکتے ہیں جو ان کی عکاسی کرتا ہے۔
پاکستان کے ادب میں اقلیتوں کی بہت سی ذمہ داریاں اور حقوق بتائے گئے ہیں۔ 2011 کی ایک تحقیق کے مطابق پاکستان میں اقلیتوں سے متعلق چھپنے والے ادب میں سے 75% مثبت تھا ۔ 90 کی دہائی میں بڑے ہوتے میں کبھی سوچ بھی نہی سکتی تھی کہ ایک پارسی لڑکی کا کردار ایک فلم میں مرکزی کردار ہو سکتا ہے۔ “لوڈ ویڈنگ” میں یہی دکھایا گیا ہے کی مسلمان کی شادی ایک پارس لڑکی سے ہو جاتی ہے قائداعظم سے مشابہت دی گئی۔
ہماری قومی اور صوبائی اسمبلیوں میں ان کی مخصوص نشستیں ہیں لیکن آٹے میں نمک کے برابر۔ جو کہ بڑہانی چاہیئں جو کہ ان کا حق ہے اور جس کے لیےانہوں نے مطالبہ بھی کیا تھا۔
ہمارا ادب و میڈیا ابھی بھی ان کے لئے آواز اٹھاتا ہے۔ پاکستان میں اقلیتیں پچھلے کچھ سالوں سے مشکلات کا سامنا کر رہی ہیں جیسے کہ عیسائیوں کی بستیاں جلا دی مسلمانوں نے، توہین کا کیس اور دیگر۔
میرے نزدیک آج کے دود میں پاکستان میں کافی حد تک شدت پسندی میں کمی آئی ہے لیکن پچھلے دنوں آسیہ کیس کا رد عمل دیکھ کہ ابھی بھی شبہ ھوتا ہے!!
ہمیں ایک ابھرتی ہوئی قوم اور ترقی کرنے کے لیے ان سب کو ساتھ لے کر چلنا ہے۔
پاکستان کے آئین میں ان کے حقووق ہیں اور اب حکومت کو ان کی طرف سنجیدگی کا مظاہرہ کرنا ہوگا ورنہ یہ اسلام کے علمبردار(صرف نام کے) ان کو زندہ کھا جایئں گے!!
