Empower women: Female teachers in Punjab to receive electric scooters from the govt

What happened:  In a bid to empower women of the country, the Punjab government will now provide electric scooters to the female public teachers of the province. The scooters will be provided under the Pilot Project in the annual budget of 2022-2023.  Details:  24News quoted the development as,  “Department of School Education will work on the pilot project and fix this program’s expenses and conditions.”  The electric scooters would be provided only to the female teachers of the government schools in Punjab  “for their easy access to the schools.”  Apart from this, sources close to Shehbaz Sharif revealed that the government would also provide more business opportunities to women in Pakistan.
