Gilgit-Baltistan gets 3rd Nestlé for Healthier Kids (N4HK)room, 1st in Shigar district

What Happened: Nestlé Pakistan launched its third N4HK room in Gilgit-Baltistan, promoting nutrition awareness and healthier lifestyles among schoolchildren.


What you need to know: Nestlé Pakistan inaugurated its third Nestlé for Healthier Kids (N4HK) room in Gilgit-Baltistan at the Government Primary Boys School in Shigar. This initiative is part of Nestlé’s global effort to promote nutrition awareness, with over 350 teachers trained in regions like Hunza, Gilgit, Skardu, Shigar, and Kharmang, aiming to benefit more than 15,000 children.


What more: Raja Nasir Ali Khan, Minister of Planning & Development Gilgit-Baltistan, praised the program for raising nutrition awareness in schools. Sheikh Waqar Ahmad, Head of Corporate Affairs at Nestlé Pakistan, highlighted the program’s national reach, impacting 360,000 children and training over 2,300 teachers across Pakistan.


Also: N4HK, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goal for Good Health and Well-Being, promotes healthy nutrition, hydration, hygiene, and active lifestyles in schools across the country.
