Gurdwaras opened for namaz after Hindu extremists attacked worshippers: India

What happened: The Sikh Gurdwaras in India’s Gurugram were opened by the administration for Muslim worshippers. Many social media users appreciated the act of kindness by the Sikh for the Muslim community. The decision by the Sikh community after the protests by BJP against the Muslim minority in the area. The Gurugram’s Sikh community has allowed Muslims to offer prayers at the eight Gurdwaras in the locality.

Details: On the other hand, Haryana’s Home Minister, Anil Vij, criticized the decision by the Sikh community. The Sikh community director of the locality, Harteerath Singh, tweeted,  “Gurgaon’s Sadar Bazaar Gurudwara is now open for our Muslim brothers to offer their daily namaz.”  At the same time, Gurugram’s Sadar Bazar Gurdwara’s president announced that the Muslims could offer their prayers in five of the Gurdwaras of the area. The president requested the fellow community and the protestors to respect other religions and not politicize.
