Master Ghulam Hussain has said that his peacock dance has become his phehchan, as he said, “I wanted to become un ique.” Details: Ghulam Hussain, in his interview with BBC, said, “For over 2-3 years, I observed peacocks in a bid to learn more about them.” Master now says that he has aced the field of peacock dance, “Peacock jb masti mein ata hai tab dance krta hai.” Hussain also added in his interview that he has made a lot of sacrifices but loves the profession, but “I would never teach this to my children.” Ghulam Hussain hails from Jamshoro and is a Pakistani craftsman; in a bid to stand out opted to become the peacock man.
