What more: The scholarships are fully funded and will cover a range of expenses, including academic fees, visa application fees, medical and travel insurance, round-trip economy flights, an Irish residence permit fee, a monthly living stipend, and additional allowances for settling in, completing the program, and departure. This initiative underscores Ireland’s commitment to education and its solidarity with Palestine.
Also: The IPSP is part of the Ireland Fellows global scholarship program, which is managed by the Irish government. In May 2024, Ireland officially recognized Palestine as a sovereign state.
