ماڈل ٹاون کیس: بدھ کو عدالت عظمی میں سماعت
عدالت عظمی کا لارجر بینچ بدھ کے روز ماڈل ٹاون کیس کی سماعت کرے گی۔
ء2014 کے سانحہ میں 14 افراد ہلاک ہوئے تھے اور مذید 100 زخمی کیے گئے تھے۔ حادثہ پاکستان عوامی تحریک (پی اے ٹی) کے نہتے کارکنان اور پولیس کے درمیاں جھڑپ کی وجہ سے شروع ہوا۔ عدالتی حکم پر غیر قانونی مورچے ہٹائے جا رہے تھے کہ پی اے ٹی کے کارکنان کی طرف سے مزاحمت کی گئی۔ جس کے جواب میں پولیس نے غیر مسلح افراد پر گولیاں چلا دیں۔
ایک نجی ٹی وی خبر رساں کے مطابق عدالت نے اس وقت کی حکمران جماعت مسلم لیگ نواز کے متعلقہ رہنماوں کو طلب کر لیا ہے۔ جن میں شہباز شریف، حمزہ شہباز، سعد رفیق، عابد شیر علی اور دیگر شامل ہیں۔
پنجاب کے وکیل استغاثہ کو بھی اس کیس کی سماعت کے لیے طلب کیا گیا ہے۔
آخری سماعت 19 نومبر کو تھی، جس میں عدالت عظمی نے لارجر بینچ تشکیل کرنے کی ہدایت دی تھی، جو ایک نئی جے ائی ٹی تشکیل دے گا۔
