PM Imran addressed JUI-F and former PM Nawaz during a public meeting on Friday, saying that he won’t resign or give NRO to the corrupt
“This is a new Pakistan. Sit as long as you want to. When your food runs out, we will send more. But we will not give you an NRO,” said Imran.
The PM went on to suggest that the opposition parties are confused and disorganized, with PPP Chairman Bilawal participating despite being a liberal and opponents of Fazlur Rehman, like Mahmood Khan Achakzai also attending it. Imran came down hard on Fazlur Rehman and his party, saying gone are the days when you could use God’s name in vain just to make some money and to get into corridors of power. He emphasized that the country cannot progress until all corruption is rooted out and the corrupt are held accountable. According to him, the nation is aware of this and the realities of the Azadi March.
“The corruption cases of all the unemployed political orphans, rightists and leftists, who have gathered in the federal capital, have surfaced and none of them will be spared,” said Imran.
