Should the markets be closed early to conserve energy in Pakistan?

hat happened:  Pakistan is currently facing a severe economic crisis due to the rising inflation and in order to meet the IMF requirements. However, the traders have reportedly refused to close the markets early at 7 pm, after the government also advised traders to close markets early.  What you need to know:  Federal Ministers Khawaja Asif, Qamar Zaman Kaira and Musadik Malik, in a joint press briefing, said,  “We understand that the common person is facing difficulties due to the petrol price hike, but this is not our doing. Due to the PTI government’s mismanagement and the deal they signed with the IMF, we were left with no option but to take the hard decisions.”  The ministers have also urged the media to show support for this order and to convince traders to close markets early.
