Vishal Garg the ceo of BETTER.COM LAID OF 900 EMPLOYEES IN 2021 days before Christmas. He was replaced by the hedge fund manager Daniel Lewis who was named ceo on August 3rd 2026. Vishal claims he convinced the board to oust him from the company and name him the new ceo.
Currently being valued at over 300 million dollars. Sales had dropped from 1.5 billion dollars per annum to a mere 70 million dollars from 2021 to 2023. Vishal stated better.com was on pace to do 200 million dollars this year. Further stating he would work for 1 dollar until better returns to profitability after which he will resign as the CEO.
