The Punjab government has announced the dates for Basant 2027, with Lahore set to host the three-day festival from March 12 to 14, 2027.
The announcement comes after Basant returned to Lahore in 2026 following an extended hiatus. The festival is expected to bring back the city’s much loved celebrations, with colourful kites, traditional festivities and cultural activities taking place across Lahore.
With the dates now confirmed, preparations for Basant 2027 are expected to begin ahead of the celebrations.
