These operations were part of efforts to combat rising terrorism, with Pakistan experiencing an increase in attacks, including 59 in August alone.


What more: The suspects, linked to banned organizations such as Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan, Daish (ISIS), and Al-Qaeda, were detained in various districts including Lahore, Bahawalpur, and Faisalabad. The CTD also seized explosives, weapons, and banned texts. Additionally, 32 FIRs were registered under the Anti-Terrorism Act during this period.
