Living in Lahore for just one year could shorten your life by 7 years, according to an American research

The University of Chicago’s recent study reveals alarming health risks for Lahore residents due to severe smog.

Life expectancy may be cut by 7 years, with children’s exposure equivalent to smoking 30 cigarettes daily.

The air quality index has exceeded 500, far surpassing the safe level of 200, and levels between 200–300 already cause eye irritation, according to the Environment Department.
