A report by Barratt London has revealed that Indians are now the largest group of property owners in London. This includes long-term UK residents of Indian descent, non-resident Indians (NRIs), investors, students, and families relocating for education.
According to the report, after Indians, the largest property-owning groups are English and Pakistani citizens.
Indian buyers typically invest between GBP 290,000 and GBP 450,000 in one- to three-bedroom properties. Stuart Leslie, Barratt London’s Director of International Sales and Marketing, noted that Indian buyers now make up 7-8% of foreign investors, with demand continuing to rise.
