What happened: In a recent survey quoted by TRT World revealed that seven out of ten Muslims in the UK experienced anti-Muslim behaviors and racial slurs at their workplaces. The Hyphen conducted the survey on the topic of “issues of Muslims across the UK and Europe.” Details: During the survey, 1503 British Muslims were made the respondents, and it was revealed that “Black Muslims experienced more anti-Muslim encounters than other Muslims.” Whereas, it was quoted that 37% of the Muslims generally faced discrimination during the hiring process, and 58% of “black Muslims reported the same.” At the same time, the survey highlighted that Muslims were subjected to racism during work-related engagements; more as 42% of the UK Muslims faced discrimination during the period. Subsequently, a report quoted, “40% of the UK Muslims said that they faced hindrance in terms of professional growth and promotions.”
