Revisiting history: Did Javed Iqbal actually kill 100 children?

In the past: In December 1999, at the beginning of the millennium, a man named Javed Iqbal wrote letters to the DIG Lahore and the Daily Jang newspaper’s editor. In the letter, he confessed that he raped, murdered, and dissolved the bodies of 100 children between the ages of 6 and 16 in acid. It is alleged that the police checked the letter out and termed it as illogical, but after Jang newspaper published the story, police came into action and reportedly locked up all those linked to Javed Iqbal. More: According to the editor of Jang he wrote, that he had murdered 100 children by strangulation and dissolved their bodies in acid, he also attached photos of some children. He added that when he visited Iqbal’s house, he found 2 sacks with notices saying “sou bachon ke joote” The second one read, “sou bachon ke kapre,” the third note read “store mein jainge to aapko drums nazar ainge jis mein mein ne body parts chore hue hain.” After this, all relatives of Iqbal were detained by the Police. What was his trigger: The Jang editor told, Javed once had brought a young massager who Iqbal then raped, the massager felt bad, he took Iqbal’s gun and smacked it on Iqbal’s face, and a part of his skull was broken and his face was in bad shape. The editor also added that his mother used to see him in this condition and would be sad, who later passed away. Javed’s mental state was decreasing, it is reported; he had decided that the massager was behind the death of his mother, after which he had made a mission that he had to kill 100 children so that their mothers cried like his mother cried and died. His punishment: Iqbal was sentenced to death by strangulation in front of the parents of the children he had murdered, the judge of the court said in his judgment, “You will be strangled to death in front of the parents whose children you killed, your body will then be cut into 100 pieces and put in acid, the same way you killed the children.” On the 9th of October of 2001, Javed and one of his accomplices were found dead in their cells, there were indications that they were murdered, but their death was ruled as a suicide. No one came to claim Javed’s body. Your thoughts: Thus, this horrific chapter of our history comes to an end. What are your thoughts about this incident? Was Javed Iqbal served right?
