Imran Khan allegedly sold three ‘Platinum’ watches to local dealers, profiting millions 

What happened:  The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf Chairman and former prime minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, reportedly sold three luxury watches worth more than 154 million to a watch dealer in Islamabad. It is pertinent to mention that the watches were gifted to Khan by different dignitaries from the Gulf countries when Khan headed the country.  Details:  At the same time, it has been reported that by selling the watches, Khan has more than 37 million in profits,  “instead of buying these watches from Toshakhana with his own money, Khan first sold the watches and then deposited 20% of each in the government treasury.”  On the other hand, the TheNews report suggested that Khan never submitted the gifts to Toshakhana, and it has been quoted,  “The gift received by any government official is to be reported immediately, so its value is assessed.”
