What happened: On May 26, 20 year-old Jazlan Faisal was shot dead and his friend Shahmir was injured inside Bahria Town, Karachi over a small argument. Previously: Jazlan and Shahmir driving by in a car told a boy named Hussain Faiz not to do stunts with his motorbike. Faiz became enraged and challenged Faisal and Noman to pullover. During a furious quarrel, Faiz contacted his elder brother Irfan who came riding with his friend Inshal and their motorbike gang. After a brief exchange of expletives, Irfan opened fire shooting Faisal in the head and Noman in the arm. Opinion: The elite youth has a history of taking the law in their hands when their ego gets hurt. Ending lives is no big deal for them. Had our justice system brought rich brats like Shahrukh Jatoi to justice and punished him, Jazlan’s family wouldn’t have to see this day.
