Pablo Escobar move as National Crime Agency seizes cocaine worth 300 million pounds hidden in 20 pallets of bananas

What happened: The UK Border Force and the National Crime Agency found drugs at the Southampton docks and the UK force seized white powder placed in five of the 20 pallets of bananas. The agency uncovered 3.7 tonnes of cocaine that were coming in from Columbia. It is pertinent to mention, that this is considered to be the United Kingdom’s biggest seizure of cocaine since 2015, and the five pallets each contained wrapped packages of white powder which authorities have said is cocaine. Details: The cocaine seized by the Border Force was estimated to be at three hundred and two Pounds, at the current UK street prices. The new Home Secretary Priti Patel,  “It should serve as a warning to anyone trying to smuggle illegal drugs into the country that we are out to get them.”  Whereas, the UK Border Force in a statement, wrote,  “This is one of the largest seizures of cocaine in the UK for many years which, had it not been stopped, would have ended up in the hands of gangs involved in street violence and exploitation.”
