#DChowkWillChokeNiazi: PML-N officials call supporters to also arrange public meeting at PTI’s rally

What happened: On March 14, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz called on party officials and workers to prepare to travel to Islamabad’s D-Chowk. The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has decided to hold a “massive” public meeting at D-Chowk on March 27, telling MPs that they will fight their way through a crowd of “one million” to get into Parliament House to vote on Prime Minister Imran Khan’s no-trust confidence motion. Details: In a memo to the party’s provincial, divisional, and district officials, PML-N Punjab President Rana Sanaullah instructed them to prepare for a power display, “The party’s leadership will issue a call, and we will demonstrate the people’s strength at D-Chowk.”  PTI’s rally: ‘The premier assigned workers with the job of gathering one million attendees for the party’s great power show,’ Ali Nawaz Awan tweeted. According to PTI Senator, Faisal Javed Khan, “At the rally, Prime Minister Imran Khan will make a historic announcement and explain the government’s plan of action following the defeat of the opposition’s no-confidence motion. The opposition’s politics will come to an end on this day.”
