What you need to know: The CCTV footage circulating on social media which showed a girl ‘willingly’ sitting in a van is not Dua. The police officer who spread this news has been suspended by the SHO of the area. Officials were successful in recovering another girl from Sanghar when they were conducting raids to find Dua, “4-5 more abducted kids were rescued the same way,” says Asad. He further added that news about education, nikkah and health also have no reality, and derogatory comments are causing pain to the family. “He (Mr.Kazmi) has requested all citizens and media houses to verify any information directly from the family first before posting it,” says Asad.
